Hainan Gibbon The Hainan Gibbon is the world's rarest primate (an animal of a certain group of animals) and was considered critically endangered (which is when they are on the verge of extinction). There are only about 28 of them left in the world, this why it has caused so much concerned for many people around the world, and why I made this blog.  Females at birth until an adult are black Weigh around 17 pounds It is the world's rarest ape One of the 25 rarest animals in the world Females are orange if adults and males are black At dawn they start to singing (wabble, hooting, screaming) 28 of them live in 6 square mile area. Ploughshare Tortoise  The Ploughshare Tortoise is considered critically endangered and they are also the rarest tortoise in the world. Southeast Asias Javon Rhino  The Southeast Asias Javon Rhino is considered one of the worlds rarest animals and is considered critically endangered. The main reason for their low population is that they are poached for their horns which our used for medicines. Their are many conservation acts that are trying to stop poaching and to protect this animal. The Northern Hairy-Nosed Wombat is critically endangered at a global level, and is only found in Australia where most of the colonies of them are located in two national Parks. These are very unique animals so here are some basic should know information about them. 32kg. Can go up to 40km/h during short distances Live Most of their lives in dens They life on average 26years long Thay are Nocturnal Part of the Wombat family. Scientific Name: Lasiorhinus Krefftii They eat 12 different types of grass They sun themselves to stay warm in cold weather They have softer fur longer and more pointed noses and broader bigger muzzle compared to the other wombat relatives.
